Set a traditional pub in the middle of that metropolis otherwise know as Tallaght, Spice of Life @ Speaker Connolly offers a ray of sunshine to what is an unusual setting for a restaurant of such high calibre. This however is all part of the charm.

Head Chef Gordon Power has designed a creative and sophisticated menu in which he brings together various tastes and styles of world cuisine. It is fair to say that Gordon’s work in this friendly local pub seeks to redefine what pub grub should be. Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner options, Spice of Life has managed to combine the freshest ingredients to create delicious international fusion cuisine. From the selection of finest grilled fillet beef cuts to the authentic teriyaki salmon salad dressed with sesame oil and rice wine, you are guaranteed the finest eating experience. A huge selection of quality wines and homemade deserts is also available.

The Wednesday night special 5 course menu (at an amazing €22 per head!) allows you to sample a wide selection of the delights you will so enjoy at Spice of Life – well worth the journey!

    Went there on bookit's recommondation. Wasn't dissappointed. The standard of food was more like a 4 star hotel than a pub, the surroundings being the only downside, but there was live music afterwards which you wouldn't normally get at a restaurant
